Frequently Asked Questions

Are your treatments safe around infants and pregnant Mums?

Yes of course. We only use Health Department approved products and then target the areas where pests breed and live. This avoids any unnecessary over application of chemical control products and minimises any impact to you, your family or your pets.

Any concerns that you may have can be addressed with your pest control technician before we commence work at your property. They will guide you towards selecting the most appropriate treatment method for your situation and give you peace of mind.

If you or any member of your family suffers from asthma, is sensitive to any specific chemicals or has any special needs whatsoever please kindly let us know and we will tailor a program to suit your requirements.

Why do I have pests?

Just like us, pests need food, water and shelter and this is why they invade our homes. Some pests are hitchhikers and sneak in via our pets, cut flowers and other unwitting visitors who accidently transport them in to our homes.

Our pest control technicians will eradicate the immediate problem then advise you on the most effective steps you can take to minimise the risk of pests returning to your property. These include tips such as removing their food sources and then modifying any pre-existing environmental conditions that may have attracted them in the first place.

Why can’t I just do it myself?

Generic pest control products purchased from hardware stores or supermarkets are typically cheaply made, and in most cases have not had their formula improved upon for decades. DIY products have little or no lasting effect on the more difficult to eradicate types of pests. Larger groups of pest species have developed resistance to these products and can only be eradicated using commercial grade pesticides that are continually improved to combat the evolving biological make up of pests.

We target your pest problems with the most up to date pesticides offered on the market today. Our approach also incorporates natural solutions, often via environment modification techniques aimed to disrupt the pests breeding cycle. All of our treatments incorporate products that have been carefully researched and extensively tested to be effective for each pest situation we apply them to.

We have been providing safe and effective pest control relief to residential and commercial property owners in your suburb for many years now. We use the latest methods and techniques to provide you with a safe and effective solution to all your pest control problems. The pesticides we use are safe, non-allergenic and very environmentally friendly.

How often should I treat my home for pests?

We recommend a pest inspection every 6 - 12 months, however if you notice an increase in pest activity at any time, contact us immediately before a small problem becomes a big issue.

Prevention has always been considered more prudent than cure and it provides peace of mind knowing that your family and property are 100% protected.

Is pest control harmful to the environment?

We have always believed it’s our responsibility to help protect the environment while providing effective pest control solutions for our clients. We are active members of the AEPMA, (Australian Environmental Pest Managers Association), this body sets out the ‘Code of Ethics’ that helps guide and regulate our industry and helps us protect the environment.

Do you use natural pest control products?

All pesticides have natural origins; the most widely used are the Pyrethroids, extracted from certain groups of flowers such as chrysanthemums. We basically use the synthesised, refined versions of these pesticides in our treatments.
